We are looking for things that scare you. Phobias and terrors that cause you to have nightmares or make your skin crawl.  Look for a creepy doll set up for us this summer, for example and as much info as we can find about this phobia.  Snakes.  Spiders. Clowns.  Rabbits.  What else scares you?

The Phantom Bride of Wells Hollow?

I am looking for information about a story I heard last year.  Apparently, on Wells Hollow Road, above Wellsville, there is the legend of a Phantom Bride that has been seen wandering along the road.  Killed somehow in an accident on the day of her wedding on Wells Hollow Road, she is now trapped along it's dusty curves, looking for her lost love.
I am looking for information on this story.  While I have several leads, any other information can only help.

Christina Sloan Video Coming Shortly!

We finished our Christina Sloan Ploto Shoot today. Video will be done this week.  Our Christina Sloan is protrayed by Heather "Dee Dee" Hicks.  She did a fantastic job and the video is going to be outstanding!  Of course, the fact that the story is one of the best in the county definitely helps!

Checking the Trail For Jake's Lock Tour

Ghosting 12 Paranormal left Friday night to check the trail that leads back to Jake's Lock.  We had a blast as we made our back past 4 locks, and 5 foundations for homes or businesses.
There was about 20 of us who ventured back to check the trail since we have not been back there for two years.  We were hoping to have the tour today, but the weather just wasn't with us.  Still, we did go back the night before.  It is already very grown over and if we wait any more, we won't be able to see anything, not to mention the ticks were outrageous.  Perhaps in the fall we may try again to get back there.  Camping back there, however, looks very interesting.

There is a reason we don't do this tour other than once a year.  It is a demanding walk, even though ending up at a haunted lock is ideal and awesome!

It was a great adventure and we do look forward to going back again.

We will let you know if we decide to try to do this walk in the near future.  Don't look for it.

Jakes Lock Walk-Weather Permitting

We are scheduled to do the Jake's Lock Walk tomorrow at 2pm, weather permitting.  It is supposed to storm, like a 60% chance, so we will see.  This is an awesome walk and I hope we get to do it. My crew and I have already checked the trails and other than some minor tweaks, we are good!
This is Lock 42.  Big difference.   It is slowly caving in, year by year.

This is Jakes Lock, #39.   Very protected, if you ask me.
The story of Jake's Lock is a sad tale about a dedicated Night Watchman who did his job no matter what.  On a story night, he did his rounds, ensuring that all was well with the locks in his charge.  When he reached the Lock in question, he was struck by lightening as he held his metal lantern into the air to peer into the lock.  It is unknown if he was killed by the lightening or drown from his injuries.  Floating in the water of the Lock, he was found the next morning, dead.  He is said to haunt the lock he died in and protects it to this day.  Your camera equipment is supposed to stop working when he is around you and he has even been reported as a disembodied voice commanding those around his lock to leave.  Most believe this lock to be Lock 42, also known as Hambleton's Lock. But some of the history books cite Lock #39  as the Lock of his death.  Which one is more protected and in tact?  That's one for Lock #39!

Midnight in the Valley of Bridges

Our Midnight Run last night took us to this awesome little bridge in the middle of nowhere.  My crew was Laura (our Ghost Hunting School Teacher), Amber, Mike, Sammi(our Ghost Hunting Cheer Leader), and Brooke!
We did several EVP sessions and 2 ghost Box Sessions while there.  Results were interesting. All of us heard a conversation going on between what sound like two men.  We couldn't find anyone down there but us.
There is also a train bridge we checked out in the area.
After several attempts, we didn't get much on it. Okay, we got nothing on it.  Not a peep or a hiccup on the ghost box.  Laura told us there was a spot that had a possible Bigfoot sighting in this area, too.  With all the other Bigfoot groups popping up all of a sudden, it is nice to find a little known spot for future hunts.
This was a new spot for us and while I can't say it is haunted at this time, it was worth our time to visit.  We will be going back.

A Midnight Run to Grimms Bridge Caught Dust and Bigfoot Imposters

Grimm's Bridge is always an interesting evening. I believe the area to be very haunted, but on this night, that was not an issue for us, unfortunately.
The dust in the air was high and every picture we took was full of dust orbs.  Then we started hearing strange calls in the woods.  Of course, several crew members shot into the woods to investigate.  Amber started calling back, but it didn't take her long to figure out that the calls were of a human nature.  Amber, Mike, Brooke, Will, Sammi, Jack, and Alex were awesome as they attempted to find out what was going on.  We are not sure why there were at least two guys in the woods pretending to be a Bigfoot.

Our evening was still a great adventure.  We hope that we have many more like tonight, even with the fake Bigfoot guys.  Just be warned if you hunt Bigfoot that there are people out there faking the big guy.

April 3 Midnight Run to Beaver Creek State Park-Looking For The Little Angel

We had our first BIG Midnight Run this year on April 3.  There was about 20 people who came and our objective was to look for the Angel Of Beaver Creek.  We ended up splitting into two groups.  Half stayed where we got the possible apparition picture and the other half tackled Dogwood Trail.
It was good to get out with everyone and do some hunting.  We did EVP sessions and Ghost Box sessions.  We also took over 600 pictures for the evening.  No apparition this time, though.

We discovered that bugs are alive and well.  We captured a lot of moths in our pics which really glowed brightly.
One of my favorite things about this part of the park is this awesomely huge tree! I suspect it to be over 100 years old.
Everyone had a good time and I fully expect for us to do this again, very soon.

We were also joined by special guest, Dawn Marshall.  Thank you so much for hunting with us Dawn!  We fully expect you to visit us again very soon!

In the center of this picture, there is a gray cat.  There was also an orange cat down there.  They were together.  SOME ONE DUMPED THEM OUT.  That is about as cruel as it gets.  These cats would not let us touch them but they followed us all over the place.  We left them some food and plan an checking on them tonight during our next Midnight Run.  They are nice cats and deserved better.

This area is, in our opinion, very haunted.  One of our goals is to do an over night investigation here.  There is more than just a little girl here.  We hope to publish our findings soon.  If you have any stories about this area, please let me know!
