The Haunted Jewish Cemetery Near Alliance

.
I HEARD THIS STORY FROM MIKE, BUT ALSO SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE.  It is also on a web site called STARK COUNTY OHIO EXPLORATION SOCIETY
The haunted Jewish Cemetery, located near Alliance, sure looks spooky enough.   From what I understand it is one of the most haunted areas in Alliance.   It was easy enough to find (since I haven't been here in 11 or 12 years) and shocking to behold. The whole little cemetery is locked up tight, though there is a phone number to call on the gate if you want to make arrangements to enter.

Once it was surrounded by an iron fence.  I love finding these.  They are also creepy looking and very fitting around an old cemetery.  This one is broken in places and a chain link fence now encompasses the grave yard as well.

Inside, the grass is about 4 feet high and hides most of the stones.  While I am not sure how many people are buried here, you can't even see ten head stones.

Eerily, there are remains of barbed wire, used to keep people out.  It just does not seem right that is should be here.  It is sad that there was apparently a need for it at one time.  It just adds to the creepy essence of the place.

I would love to see this poor little cemetery get some love.  I am also interested in hearing any ghost stories about it.  By the looks of this place, it has every right to be haunted.

Alliance, OH Has a Cry Baby Bridge

THIS STORY COMES FROM MIKE, MY FORMER HUSBAND, WHO LIVED IN THE ALLIANCE AREA MOST OF HIS LIFE. YOU CAN ALSO FIND IT ON THE STARK COUNTY OHIO EXPLORATION SOCIETY PAGE.
I spent the day in Alliance, Ohio yesterday and had a great time there!
This bridge is on Webb Avenue, but I do not know yet what little river it is spanning.  The waters look deep and muddy.
The story Mike told me was that a young girl threw her baby off the side of the bridge when she didn't want it anymore.  You now can hear the cries of the infant coming from under the bridge if you stand on it at midnight.  I am sure there is more detail to this story, so if you have any information or know a different story, please let me know!  ghosting12@yahoo.com
