I spent 4 hours yesterday at the library researching Rogers, Ohio. I ran across a book that was written in 1900 called Columbiana County History and Citizens. Inside I found several pictures of the area at that time. Above is Lusk Lock, 1900.
Here it is in 2012. One hundred and ten years later and it is showing some signs of its age. I am amazed that it is still in tact as much as it is. The stones are moss covered and discolored. Now, for me, while I appreciate getting a glimpse at what it looked like when it was newer, I love how it looks now much better because it is...ghostly!
