On November 24 we went to a book signing in Rogers, Ohio.  It was for an author name Judy Lennington, pictured on the left in yellow.  She wrote a bood called Mudsock, which is about Rogers, Ohio.  She wrote several other books and had those at the book signing, too.
Many of her books are fiction, but they are based in the area.
Thank you so much to Rogers, its council members, and the Mayor, Sandra Chambers, for hosting the event at the Rogers Community Center.
Judy has a new book coming out at Christmas which is a murder mystery and it takes place in Negley, Ohio.  I will post information tomorrow where you can get your own copy of this book or any of her other books as well.
The whole reason for the book signing was in support of the local history.  You have to know the history to find the ghosts.  What better way than to read a book!

The Victorian Wake Was An Awesome Event!!

Dark Shadow Ghost Tours held an event on November 16 called "The Victorian Wake of Sylvester Conley".  It was a huge success!  Ghosting 12 Paranormal was there to help out and pay our respects to poor Sylvester, who turned out to be a true dummy!
Shawn and Marianne Donley really outdid themselves with Sylvester.  He looked amazing!

Amanda with  "Sylvester"

Dinner was prepared by Lee and Mike! They served salad, rolls, a choice of tomato basil or autumn squash soups, ham with parsley potatoes, and roasted veggies ( carrots, Brussels sprouts, parsnips, and zucchini).  For dessert they had Neapoitian cake with butter cream icing!

My guys went above and beyond for this event and their costumes were awesome!  This is Mike and Lee!   It was traditional for those who attended a wake to dress in black.  While the men often were done with this color when the funeral ended, women often were stuck with it for at least a year, depending on their relationship to the deceased.

Here is Amanda again, with Sylvester.  She actually portrayed his mistress.
 Laura was Sylvester's witchy sister!

And finally Shawn and Marianne Donley.  They are amazing at what they do, which is bringing one awesome adventure after another to life for you to enjoy!
G12P loved doing this event and look forward to many more with our friends, Dark Shadow Ghost Tours!

All of this said, what's next for Dark Shadow Ghost Tours?
Ghosting 12 Paranormal will be here. How about you?

Ghosts Attaching Themselves To Things

We implemented every option we could to somehow take our ghosts from the Louis Townsend Farr House.  In the above picture we you see the two Teddy Bears in the chair.  The larger one is Minky, Emily's favorite.  We also left a second one for Rick.  The Instructions were simple.   If they wanted to go with us to our next building, attach themselves to the bears.  Can they do that?  We don't know. We also asked that they move the bears somehow so we would know they did it.   The bears never moved.
For that reason, we had to assume they chose not to do that.  The bears are in safe keeping just in case,  but we also decided to cross over any spirits that might be in the house just in case.
For that we enlisted the talents of Mike and Lee Mizenko, who are members of G12P.
This awesome ghost hunting couple have extensive experience "Cleansing" houses.  We decided to do this on November 8th.  Mike, Lee, Laura, Brian, Amanda and I (Kimberly)  were present for this event.
We first went around and said our Good Byes to the house and what ever ghosts might still be there.  We then set up on the second floor to CROSS them over.
We added an SB7 to the event.  Mike was told you could hear talking during the crossing over.  As Mike talked to our spirits, he told them to look for a light.  Out of the SB7 we heard "
I can see it!".  We also heard "Help me".  Finally we started hearing "Thank you".  Several of them.  It was amazing.  The wind howled outside and the house seemed to rumble.  Also...
Every one of us heard disembodied voices.  In the picture to the right, I was actually asking Amanda what she just said because it sounded mumbled.  I found it interesting that the orb was caught between us at that time.  Amanda had not said anything at all.
Once the voices stopped coming out of the SB7, we ended the session.  Lee and Mike then went through each room of the house with oil and blessed salt, saying prayers and hopefully sending any other entities that remained away from the house.
It was an experience I am interested in doing again.
Are our ghosts gone, or did they attach to the bears?  We will let you know if we ever find out.

Life After The Louise Townsend Farr House

We closed The Louise Townsend Farr House on Oct 19.  It was a sad day.  The last thing we took down was the sign.

We worry about our ghosts that we have come to know and care about.  Ira Caplinger in the basement.  Johnny on the stairs.  Emily in the attic.  And Rick, the newest entity we contacted and just learned about in July.  He is also in the attic, also in Emily's room.
We couldn't figure out why our little girl was asking for a coal train.
Imagine our surprise to fine there really was such a toy as a coal train and it was in the same time frame as our Emily was alive (1923-1929).
Still, we are hopeful.  We have asked the ghosts to come with us to our new building, where ever that might be.  Of course we are also going to give them the option to cross over if they would like.  We don't want to leave them in a house being torn down.
We will let you know how that goes.  We are calling it a grand experiment.  If they come with us, I will let you know.
Emily's room is now empty. This is the hot spot of the house
and it was hard to walk away from the little girl we feel may
be up there, as well as Rick, whom we think may have been
the little boy asking for the train.

The Wild Ride That Was October

October 5 and our tour at Gretchen's Lock with Venture Outdoors!
October 2014 was the busiest month EVER for G12P.  We were everywhere!  Here are a few pics and some details about each.

October 11 we were investigating the J.C.
Thompson Building once again with Dark Shadow Ghost Tours!

We were interviewed by Ed Balint of the Canton Repository.
For the full story:

We did two Trolley Tours and one Walking Tour at Salem this year.
Pictures above are Crew Members Laura McQuistion, Brian Dickson,
and Amanda Vantilburg.

The walking tour ends with the ghostly tales of the Dale Shaffer Memorial
Research Library

The Trolley Tours always take us down to Cry Baby
Bridge on Egypt Road.

Grandview Cemetery and the grave site of Elizabeth and Harold

The "Hat Man" tagged along on several of our adventures in Salem
this year.

Yet another adventure in the J.C. Thompson Building, this time
with the Golden Triangle Bus Tour Company!

We were invited to accompany Dark Shadow Ghost Tours
as the lectured at Newton Falls Library.

Technically well endowed, we love hanging with DSGT, any time,
any where!  Pictured above is Shawn and Marianne Donley.

We also jumped in to help out some old friends.  This is at the old
Elks Club in East Liverpool.  Yes, it has real ghosts.  One at least.

And then there was the Hill View Manor Halloween Bash on October 31.  What a fantastic time.  That will be another tale however.

And yes, we have events in November!  One Victorian Wake and one investigation at the Stage Coach Inn.  More details about these events coming.
