DECEMBER 12 IS THE NEXT INVESTIGATION AT THE EAST END JR. HIGH. $20 PER PERSON. 10 PM TO 5 AM. TEXT TO 330-303-6374
For Ida, no one would ever see her alive again.
Oscar however, was seen just two hours later, racing his horse and buggy through town to his grandmothers.
For two days, everyone thought they eloped. It was no secret that the two had been forbidden to mary by Ida's mother, Mrs. Lee. By Monday, Ida was discovered. She had been shot in the head, her head covered with a shirt, and her body dragged into the bush. A few hours later, the body of Oscar was found, on the other side of the orchard. He had shot himself. Clutched in his hand was a note.
1. I DID IT AND IT CAME ALL OF A SUDDEN. WE WERE WALKING ALONG AND …EVERYONE IS SORRY AFTERWARDS AND SO AM I. GOD FORGIVE US. IDA IS AS GOOD AS SHE EVER WAS….MOMMA FORGIVE ME AND FORGET. I LOVED IDA DEARLY BUT MRS LEE WOULD NOT LET ME HAVE HER, SO I TOOK HER ANYWAYS. I AM GOING NOW TO THE WOODS FOR MUSHROOMS. GOOD BYE OSCAR LEE GRAY
