Haunts in the old Trolley Barn in East End

About a block down the street from the school you will find what is known today as the East Liverpool Street Department building. It was originally built as a a trolley barn over 100 years ago. It also has a chilling history and a ghost story.
I talked to a man who worked there. He said he was working a night shift and at around midnight he was eating lunch. He looked up from his meal to see a dog looking at him. It was a friendly dog wagging his tail. The man was annoyed because a dog in the building meant someone left a door open. Still, he decided to share his lunch with the dog. He opened his lunch box to get the dog a bite. When he looked up the dog was gone.
He searched for the dog but never found it. He also didnt find any open doors. Thinking the dog got out and the wind shut the door, his night went on uneventful.
The next day found the man warning everyone to be on the lookout for the dog and to make sure the doors were closed. His co-workers exchanged looks so the man asked what the problem was.
Every hair on his body stood up as they told him that back in the 1930's the building had a more ominous use. Hundreds of stray dogs were euthanized inside on a weekly basis, using carbon monoxide.

The man telling me this story believes he met the ghost of one of those unfortunate dogs.

G12P GONE FROM THE EAST END JR HIGH

G12P TOOK ON THE SCHOOL IN OCTOBER OF 2015.  BECAUSE WE WERE BOOKED FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER, WE DIDN'T GET TO START DOING ANYTHING IN THE SCHOOL UNTIL NOVEMBER.  WE GOT TWO PUBLIC INVESTIGATIONS IN, NOV 14 AND DEC 12.
IN NOVEMBER, EAST LIVERPOOL ELECTED A NEW MAYOR.  WE HAD NO IDEA WHAT KIND OF AN IMPACT THIS WOULD HAVE ON WHAT WE WERE DOING AT THE SCHOOL.  AS OF JAN 1, HOYA, THE YOUTH GROUP OPERATING THE SCHOOL, WAS OUT.  THE MAYOR DECIDED THE BUILDING COST TOO MUCH FOR THE CITY TO DEAL WITH ANYMORE.  THAT ULTIMATELY MEANT US ALSO.
WE FOUND OUT ON JAN 28 FOR SURE THAT WE WERE NO LONGER IN THE BUILDING.  WE HAD HOPED THEY WOULD LET US STAY, BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE.
FOR THE RECORD, HAD WE KNOWN THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN, WE WOULD NEVER HAVE TAKEN ON THE SCHOOL.  WE JUST GOT STARTED AND WE ARE OVER ALREADY.  NOT WHAT WE WANTED.
WE APOLOGIZE TO ALL THE GROUPS WE HAD TO CANCEL ON.
WE ARE BACK TO LOOKING FOR A NEW BUILDING, MAYBE THIS TIME, ALL OUR OWN.
GOOD BYE HAUNTED EAST END JR HIGH.  WE WILL MISS YOU AND YOUR GHOSTS.
